Location: This job is located off campus, in Starkville, MS, on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
Pay: $10-14/hour
Boardtown Engraving LLC is a small independently owned business focused on precision and craftsmanship. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to be a part of our team in producing and designing high-quality plaques, trophies, awards, and more. If you enjoy a variety of projects, being creative and enjoy staying busy, this position could be the right place for you!
We are seeking a candidate with the availability to provide 20–30 hours of weekly support, including some Saturday morning coverage from 8:00 am to noon.
What You’ll Do:
* Set up jobs and run engraving machines and use related engraving tools.
* Prepare digital files (text and logos) for production.
* Proofread all work for typos and ensure appropriate materials and dimensions are correct.
* Hands-on Assembly: Assembly of products- plaques, trophies, etc.
* Greet customers, answer phone calls, handle payment methods, etc.
* Clean and maintain work area and assist in maintaining store front.
What We’re Looking For:
* Hands on experience in graphic design or related.
* Creative and comfortable with design software and basic computer tasks.
* Attention to detail like identifying misspelled words, precise measurement, poor alignment, quality detection, and other possible issues that can occur
* Versatile enough to jump between engraving jobs and other tasks.
Hourly pay rate depends upon experience.
