This is a co-op position at a pulp and paper manufacturing facility. The Hood Container Co-op program is for a one-year period and will be available to begin in either May 2026 or August 2026. Employees will follow all safety policies and procedures.
Job responsibilities include process sampling and lab testing, data collection and analysis, process mapping and troubleshooting, developing and evaluating process improvements, and engagement in the daily operations of the facility. Preferred candidates will have good communication skills and be effective at working independently. Co-op students will work in the technical department and may be utilized in any manufacturing area as needs arise.
In addition to the hourly rate, Hood Container will allow for a $1500 stipend at the beginning of the work period and an additional $1500 stipend at the successful completion of the one-year work period.
