JOB SUMMARY:
Intern will learn all aspects of the Merchandise operation including retail, carnival style games, outdoor carts, candy stores, and warehouse operations. Intern will learn to understand all P&L categories, budgetary expenditures, and the three-legged stool. This role will provide opportunities to build positive working relationships while working alongside and leading team members.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in location operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Manages locations in cleanliness, merchandising, and visual standards.

Assists with talent management, which includes having effective communication and human resources.

Follows Standard Operating Procedures and policies, and learns leadership skills focusing on fairness and consistency.

Manages location P&L including labor, non-labor, and cost of goods.
-
Understands the inventory process including buying, shipping, warehouse, and relieving inventory.

Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.

Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.

A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Preferred majors include: Business Management, Hospitality.

Basic Financial knowledge.

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.

Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.

Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
