ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about Waystar and the healthcare payments industry. The ideal candidate will be looking to enhance their career and expand their skill set. This unique experience will provide insight into a dynamic ever-changing and evolving industry, coupled with the opportunity to join a great company like Waystar.
As a project management intern we’re looking for someone who can partner with a full time project manager to learn and assist with a project or projects. Assistance includes but is not limited to data analysis, process and workflow development, scheduling and facilitating meetings, notetaking, project scoping and planning , developing and presenting leadership updates, maintaining project timelines and learning Waystar’s software and project management tools. Interns will learn how a software development company operates and the inner workings of the Product and Engineering department.
As part of this internship experience, you will expand on your professional development skills as well as gain first-hand knowledge of a niche within the healthcare industry. Interns will assist the company with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, learning about the healthcare revenue management cycle, capturing data for our clients, reporting and insights and assisting across teams on various projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Do you fit our team?

2nd Semester Junior or Senior
-
3.2 or above GPA
-
Actively involved on campus and/or community
-
Majors/Minors: Open – prefer Business, Computer Science or Engineering

Interest in healthcare and/or technology
-
Curiosity to go deeper into the projects given

Ability to adapt and pivot with competing priorities and/or deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
