Accepting an Offer?
Congratulations! Your next step will be to follow the steps below to complete your co-op/internship paperwork.
- Submit your co-op/internship paperwork by clicking on Register Your Experience on your Connections homepage. Select Add New Experience then complete the required questions, upload your offer letter, and review and sign the program policies and procedures. If you have any questions, please contact the Co-op & Internship Program Office at 662-325-3823 or drop by 335 McCain Hall.
- After you paperwork has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include a checklist with information about co-op/internship class registration, placing scholarships on hold, campus housing, and other university departments you may need to contact before beginning work. If you will require CPT, instructions for applying will be included in your confirmation email.
- You will have two required assignments while on co-op/internship. Learning Objectives– building your skills based on the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) competencies and your Program Evaluation– letting our office know how your semester experience was at your company. Emails with instructions on each assignment will be sent to students along with reminders.

Interested in Becoming a Co-op Ambassador?
Ambassadors promote the Cooperative Education and Internship Program across campus and serve as peer advisors to students in need of career assistance.
Ambassador applications are collected in March of each year. Interviews will be conducted in April and new ambassadors will be named before the end of the semester.

Qualifications
- Must have completed a three-term co-op or two formal internship experiences on record with our office
- Minimum 2.50 GPA
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work 10-12 hours per week
