ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT
To schedule a day and time to conduct interviews on campus or virtually, please follow the steps below:
How to Request an On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Schedule:
1. Go to Connections: https://msstate-csm.symplicity.com/employers/
2. Login using your username (your email address) and your password
3. Choose the OCR tab, then Schedules sub-tab
4. Click Request a Schedule
5. Complete the fields and click Submit
After the schedule is approved, you will login and attach the position(s) for the schedule.
Interviews are hosted in our dedicated interview rooms located in 300 Montgomery Hall.
Interviews will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. with a break from 12-1 p.m.
If you have requested interviews through your Connections account, when you arrive to 300 Montgomery Hall, please check in at the front desk where a Career Center staff member will assist you.
Interviews Associated with Events
If interviews are associated with a Career Center event such as the Career Expo, Adkerson School of Accountancy Career Fair, etc., please refer to your logistical emails for specific information regarding your interview process.

How to Request an Information Session or Tabling Opportunity:

3. Choose the Events tab, then Information Sessions sub-tab
4. Click Request Information Session
5. Fill out the form and click Submit
Please note: Rooms can only be requested when classes begin. If you’ve submitted your request during the summer months, there will be a delay in the approval process.
After your request is approved, you will receive an email notification.
EVENTS & CAREER FAIRS
Below are steps to register for events. If you don’t see events when you scroll down your homepage, please reach out to us at 662-325-3344 so we can review your account.
Register for an Event:
1. Go to Connections: https://msstate-csm.symplicity.com/employers/
2. Login using your username (your email address) and your password
3. Scroll down the center of the page, and click on the event you’re wanting to attend
4. On the right-hand side, click Register
5. Complete the fields and click Submit
After the registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
Registration typically includes one table, two-three representatives, and lunch. Parking and additional details vary by event.
Logistics are sent via email 1–2 weeks before the event.
Yes! We welcome employer presence for future recruitment and brand-building.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 business days before the event to avoid charges. Full terms and conditions are in registration forms and confirmation emails. See below for general event terms and conditions:
Event Terms & Conditions
Below is information regarding payment, cancellation, and weather-related updates. These policies help us ensure a smooth event experience for everyone and allows effective planning.
1. All fees associated with attending the event must be paid no less than seven business days prior to the date of the event. There will be no refunds after this date. To cancel without penalty, written notification must be sent to lneal@career.msstate.edu on or before this date by 5:00 p.m.
2. If your account is paid in full, but you cancel seven business days prior to the event, or you do not show up for the event, your payment is non-refundable.
3. If your account is NOT paid in full, and you cancel seven business days prior to the event, or you do not show up for the event, you will still be responsible for the full payment amount.
4. Inclement Weather Policy:
University Guidance: The MSU Career Center follows official university guidance regarding inclement weather or campus closures. If the university closes or restricts in-person activities due to weather conditions, the Career Center will notify all registered participants of any changes, delayed starts, or cancellations as soon as possible via email.
Notifications: Notifications will be sent to the email address provided by the individual who completed the event registration form. Please ensure this contact monitors their email and communicates any updates to attending representatives as needed.
Refunds: Please note that weather-related cancellations or delays may occur with short notice. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed but will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature and timing of the event.
Suspension for Non-Payment: Unless the amount owed is paid in full, we will suspend your access to any or all services of the MSU Career Center 15 days post event.
