Software Test Engineer Intern
Role Overview:
In this role, you will work alongside experienced QA professionals and developers to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will gain hands-on experience with testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a unique opportunity to learn how to deploy and validate complex GridOS applications in a simulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and software defects.

Documentation: Assist in writing, maintaining, and updating test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and daily stand-ups to understand requirements and contribute to quality goals.

Bug Tracking: Document, track, and verify software defects using our internal issue-tracking tools.

Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and data sets.
Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Other Eligibility Requirements:

The required work location is Atlanta, GA or Bellevue, WA – 100% onsite.

Must have the ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or coursework in testing tools (e.g., Katalon, qTest).

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

An interest in performance testing or security testing.

Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale cumulative GPA (without rounding).

The pay for this position ranges from $1,000 weekly to 2,000 weekly based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.

Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
